About Brass Strips
Brass strip is a flat rectangular section, sold by width, thickness and length. In local markets it is often called brass patti.
It is widely used as divider and inlay strip in terrazzo, marble and tile flooring, for stair nosing and edge trims, and for decorative inlays in furniture and doors. Electrical and hardware manufacturers punch and bend it into contacts, clips, washers and small brackets, and sign makers use it for nameplates and engraved plates.
