About Brass Angles
A brass angle is an L-shaped profile, described by the outside length of each leg and the thickness. When both legs are the same it is an equal angle; when they differ it is an unequal angle.
Brass angles protect and finish edges on steps, counters, tiles and wall corners, and they are used to make light frames, display fixtures and decorative borders where brass’s colour is part of the design.
Specifying a brass angle
Send both leg dimensions, the thickness, the length and the quantity. If the angle is for a visible finish, mention whether you need it polished or ready for lacquering.
Use the calculator for an estimated weight. It treats the corner as sharp, so a real rolled angle with a rounded root will weigh slightly differently.

How are brass angle sizes written?
Usually as leg A × leg B × thickness, for example in millimetres. For an equal angle both legs are the same.
Does the calculator include the rounded corner?
No. It assumes sharp corners, which is a close approximation. The actual weight may vary slightly.
