About Brass T Profiles
A brass T profile has a flat top flange with a web running down its centre. In flooring the web sits in the joint between two surfaces while the flange covers the edge, giving a neat separating line between tiles, stone or timber.
T profiles are also used for decorative inlays, panel joints and light fabrication where a strong edge and a visible brass line are wanted.
Details we need
Send the flange width, total height, flange thickness and web thickness, the length and the quantity. If you have a sample or drawing, a photo with measurements is the quickest way to agree the size.
The calculator shows how each dimension is measured on its diagram and estimates the weight.
Common applications
- Floor and tile joints
- Transitions between flooring materials
- Decorative inlays and separators
- Panel joints and trims
Forms and shapes
- Standard T sections
- Custom T sections to drawing, subject to confirmation
Sizes, dimensions and specifications
Available sizes change with stock and production. Send us the flange width, total height, flange and web thickness and length you need, with the quantity, and we will confirm what is available. Contact us to confirm available sizes.
Weight estimates for Brass use an approximate density of 8,500 kg/m³. Alloys and grades vary.
Custom and special requirements
If the T section you need is not standard, send a drawing or sample. We will confirm whether it can be manufactured and the minimum quantity involved.

Brass T Profiles: questions and answers
How do I measure a T profile?
Measure the flange width (top), the total height (top to bottom of the web), and the thickness of the flange and the web.
Can you make a custom T section?
Possibly. Share the drawing and quantity and we will confirm feasibility before quoting.
Is the weight from the calculator exact?
It is a theoretical estimate with sharp corners and an assumed density. Real profiles vary slightly.
