About Brass U Profiles
A brass U profile, or channel, has a flat base (web) with two side flanges. It caps the edge of panels, holds glass or boards in place, and forms neat trims around furniture, counters and fixtures.
Because brass takes a bright finish, U channels are often chosen for visible edges in shopfitting, interiors and furniture.
Details we need
Send the overall width, overall height, base (web) thickness, flange thickness, the length and the quantity. If the channel must fit a panel or glass thickness, tell us that inside width as well.
Estimate weight with the calculator; its diagram shows each dimension.

Brass U Profiles: questions and answers
What is the difference between a U profile and a channel?
They are the same shape. Both names describe a base with two side flanges.
Can I order a channel to fit my glass thickness?
Yes, tell us the glass or panel thickness and the outside size you want. We will confirm what is possible.
How is the U profile weight calculated?
Base width × base thickness plus two flanges × flange thickness × (height − base thickness), multiplied by length and density.
